Frequently asked questions

All clusters run in EU datacenters with GDPR-compliant data handling. The primary hub is in Frankfurt, with redundant infrastructure across multiple EU regions. Customer data never leaves the EU.
Every plan includes the Kubernetes control plane, a public IPv4 per node, an HTTPS hostname with automatic certificates, a per-cluster firewall, persistent volumes on local node storage and EU-based support. Extra worker nodes on Dev and Team are billed per node.
Clusters on our EU infrastructure are ready within minutes of order confirmation. Larger clusters or custom networking configurations take longer.
Not yet. RKE2 keeps snapshots of the cluster state (etcd) on the control-plane node every 12 hours, but persistent volumes are not backed up. Back up important data to your own storage, for example with Velero.
Yes. Cluster definitions, manifests, and persistent data can be exported and migrated to a Self-Hosted Cluster Fabrik installation on your own infrastructure. There is no platform lock-in.
